The aim of the Workshop on Data Assimilation in the Sciences: Focus on
Geophysical and Neuroscience Applications is to bring together
methodological researchers from the mathematical sciences, together with
disciplinary scientists from the geophysical and neurobiological
sciences, to study problems arising from the utilization of data within
sophisticated mathematical models of complex nonlinear systems. In view
of the broad range obackgrounds of the adience, we are specifically
seeking speakers who aim to bridge the gaps between the different
scientific communities represented at the workshop. Furthermore the
workshop will be preceded by a sprischool
